Dizziness

Dizziness is the feeling of lightheadness and can be caused by a variety of factors including low blood pressure, dehydration or arrhythmias. Arrhythmias reflect abnormalities in the rate and/or rhythm of the heart; they result in decreased blood flow to the brain and, therefore, feelings of dizziness and lightheadness. Other causes of lightheadedness include low blood sugar, low blood pressure, anaemia and some medications.

Dr Costopoulos can diagnose and treat underlying cardiovascular issues which may lead to dizziness as well as advising on lifestyle and medication.
